My biggest fear for UK.

Got about 4 acres here so have a full time gardner since I hate that stuff, got him one of those sit on things too. Great for BBQ's and bonfires, maybe build on the top end at some point and move in there (even higher up). My only concern now is the small river that runs through it all...

Wish I had a river, a trout stream at least, all I've got is a poxy stream at the bottom of the garden, 4 ft wide and about a foot deep, and the prev owner built this really naff oriental footbridge over it
You could step over the damned thing. I might put concrete pipes in and overfill so that the grandkids don't mess about in it.

I also have about a dozen tree's I need to cut down, I am not picking up leaves every autumn, Besides, they look untidy and lean every which way.

I just bought a big house, sorry, Money pit. floor timbers were all rotten and I've had to replace the lot.
Roof had asbestos tiles, having to reroof it.
Rewire it.
re-plumb it
Fit central heating
hack off walls damp proof and re-plaster
replace all the skirting boards
Replace kitchen
replace bathroom.
cost me nearly twenty grand so far and I haven't even decorated yet, let alone moved in

My place was derelict but rebuilt from scratch before I bought the place so nothing to do or I wouldn't have done it.

I should have moved it to the coast and flooded it, made the insurers pay for the work
