He, He - another accolade not going to the resident commie.

As for suggestions, department stores are usually good places to look.

Nope, I'm not really into fancy dress. I was trying to buy something else I didn't really want, a form of top that's worn when it's too cold to wear a T-shirt alone and not cold enough to wear a coat. Aside from not really wanting this I ended up having to pay cash for it as well, and still had the vouchers

Anyway looking for something like this: http://www.aspinaloflondon.com/acces...8&DesignID=900

But one that is the same size (he likes small wallets) but with a thing for notes.

Its his 25th so want to make it a nice one but not too nice as I am a tight arsed barsteward.

Anyone got a suggestion for a nice place to get stuff like this from?
No, but the rule of thumb is this: your wallet/purse should never be more impressive than your bank account. If you spend so much on it you can't afford to take it out of your jacket or bag to buy anything, then it cost too much.

I am anti-communist actually. They are (at the very least) directly responsible for the death of my grandfather - the scumbag who wrote false report which lead to his imprisonment and ultimately untimed death was begging for forgiveness from my grandmother. This piece of sh1t lived all his live there for decades knowing what he did and only when he was about to die himself - not in prison, he tried to gain forgiveness. Good thing that I know about it only now as otherwise I could have probably done something that I would regret doing afterwards.

So, no, I am not a commie - please find some other more appropriate way to insult me.

You confusing communism (a theoretical ideal) with a very nasty piece of work existing in a screwed up justice system that allows appalling travesties of justice.

How do you think Brazilians feel about the Met Police? Does that make the Police Communists? (actually, if they DO go on strike ...)
Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

Unlike you I lived under communism and I know it first hand.

Your example is an exception, not the rule. The rule is the kind of stuff that happens under nazi system or communist system. Sometimes name does not tell a lot about contents - for example one of the Russian politicians named his party "liberal democrats", however he is a complete scumbag that has nothing to do with liberty or democracy, yet he took the name. So, it is entirely possible there are some countries out there that claim to be communist but they do not have the kind of mass murder done as it was under Soviet communist party, however, when such grave crimes against humanity happens (many millions were killed like this - not just my granddad), then the name should stick the same way nazies will forever be associated with genocide.

Let me repeat to you - what happened to my family was not unique, this happened to many millions, it is a "feature" of the communist system just like killing jews is "feature" of nazi system.

Therefore calling people who suffered from communism "communists" is the same as calling jews escaped from Germany as "nazies".

                There I am done talking.

Leather may be fashionable just now, but it won't be by the spring.
