Black Eye Friday!!!

I had no idea there was a name for it!! I've had 2 xmas dinners where I've had to explain to the in-laws how I managed to get a black eye just before xmas.

The first one I took the pi55 out of a work colleague only to find he had a very low tolerance to alcohol and a very sharp temper, he was a little bloke so I put that down to Napoleon syndrome.

The second time a group of us were asked to leave a nightclub as one of our party was being sick on the bar, a couple of girls outside dressed in Santa outfits started laughing at us so I called one of them a nasty name only to be promptly punched in the eye.

This ginga support monkey at the office tried to take the piss out of me at work. As usual I gave him a bitch slap but now as it is "the festive season" and good will to all men and all that I feel guilty. What should I do??

It's well known round our parts with factories/businesses closing at 11 on the Friday before Xmas for the holidays - it sometimes seems that the whole of the North East is out, very very drunk, and occassionally black eyes may occur (if not just from serious baps in the face, if you get my drift)

Got to love the northern madness I can't wait to get back home and in the thick of it!!!
