I got to leave my work uncompleted for someone to fix over the next three weeks while I'm away.

Seemed like a bonus to me

I got naff all - including no extension. Still, no one else did either, so that's the name of the game!

              Anyone got some bench polish?

                Oops

Not meaning to add insult to injury and hurt anyone's feelings, I managed to squeeze a couple of grand from their coffers.
So, back to Greece then, Zorba?

If you're not part of the solution, there's good money to be made from prolonging the problem.

                      Hours!

Pah. As I remind my client on a daily basis I am paid by the day not the hour and my contract has no "expected hours clause". They're damned lucky I don't go home after 20 mins. Apart from its a 2 hour drive each way.
