Where do you think house prices will be in 2 years?
As inflation is almost nothing according to Labour, does it matter?
If house price inflation were included in the politically arrived at inflation figure, we might achieve deflation. Except in real terms. This is presumably much better than just low inflation and would be a remarkable achievement for a labour government that usually leaves the economy in such a mess?

Problem is property is considered a capital asset in the UK and the majority are owners. No government would like capital asset prices to fall.
