I think that was one of our summer tours

it was indeed the summer tour of 2006.. highlights included

“'I use my caravan most weekends over summer, it's an LMC tourer and as we only have a 2 seater coupe I normally let the kids travel in the caravan. However we've had a couple of 'scary' moments on the M1 in high winds where the caravan came close to tipping over. The kids don't particularly like travelling in it as they think it 'moves around too much', but it seems I have little choice other than buying a 4 seater car which I am loathe to do. Any ideas? Is it possible to make the caravan more stable?',”

“I am having a problem with a lack of power when towing my caravan that I bought on Ebay (B I Jubilee 1993 2 berth end bathroom, gas toilet, 4 ring hob, oven and grill, hot and cold water, fly screens and blinds fully equip, full awning and annex). When I switch the traction control setting to off road + tow -2 my car ( Mercedes CL500 ) will not go over 30mph. I telephoned the Mercedes dealer who said I need to upgrade to a CL600. I an disappointed because I thought caravanning would be a cheap option to save money. I’m also having difficulty in keeping up the payments on the car. Any suggestions welcome.”

I gotta say lads,

the caravan forum invasion and the resulting creativity in the humour in the threads was one of the biggest laughs this forum has had in a long time
