Clog's post on http://www.caravan-sitefinder.co.uk/forum/
I am having a problem with a lack of power when towing my caravan that I bought on Ebay (B I Jubilee 1993 2 berth end bathroom, gas toilet, 4 ring hob, oven and grill, hot and cold water, fly screens and blinds fully equip, full awning and annex). When I switch the traction control setting to off road + tow -2 my car ( Mercedes CL500 ) will not go over 30mph. I telephoned the Mercedes dealer who said I need to upgrade to a CL600. I an disappointed because I thought caravanning would be a cheap option to save money. I’m also having difficulty in keeping up the payments on the car. Any suggestions welcome.
