interesting lesson with this stuff, I'm using the kitchen as the prototype when connections work to the kitchen the same can be implemented in other rooms, connected up the digibox and connected all wires but the digibox couldn't get a signal, and it was simply because I hadn't done a tidy enough job of the cable connections, I know it sounds silly and it is only coax cable but you still have to take your time when making the connections to make sure they are perfect.

One bit of free consultancy from me - remember to turn off all the boxes that are connected when messing around with the cables to the dish. I friend a Sky box once with one of those multi thingy boxes and the only thing I could figure out was a spark jumped from the cable I was plugging in to the new box. May have been something to do with the Diseqc (or however it is spelt).
