£2m...? That really IS a lot of kit to move. Must have been well planned.

I wonder if somebody project managed it (although it wouldn't have been any of the PM's I've worked with though because they were all effin clueless).

I'd have put forward the dyslectic guy I worked with and put him in charge of getting the plates made up for the getaway vehicle.

Amount is really very high, can't see that they took normal hardware, perhaps they were taking blades - small volume/weight, but high density of CPUs/memory. This is way too specialised hardware though, hard to sell, my guess is that they wanted data rather than servers. Probably took more than needed to avoid pointing to exact place that they were interested in.
