I have landline and ISP at home, but I normally work away, hence the USB connection. I need a connection at home for the family, but this is just to enable my access when I'm away.

I use "t-mobile web n walk Plus", the plus bit costs more but gives you no usage limit per month, all i do is plug phone to laptop (via min usb to usb cable) and im connected anywhere there is a phone signal.

Decent ish speeds, 10Mb connection between phone and laptop, download speeds of around 250-400 kbps. Not bad considering your mobile. Good enough to play World of Warcraft on the train atleast.

No idea how much it costs, think it's around £6.99, it gets added to my mobile contract bill and comes direct from co. account

Quite tempted by that. It seems to be £29 per month though.

I don't think any of them are actually unlimited - the limit seems to be 3GB on most of them in the small print.

i'm on the Flext 35 (simply because you get double the amount of call/text allowance over the flext 30 plan) with web n walk plus..

flext 35 is £25.54:

flext 35 with web n walk is £31.92

flext 35 with web n walk plus is £36.17

as web n walk but with a 3gb browsing limit and VOIP is allowed.

1gb a month is roughly 30Mb a day, I find that's more than enough for mobile use. I average 4-6mb a day with emails and the net during a commute which goes up to 10-12mb when playing WoW.

they also do a max version with a 10gb limit.

I have to factor in my TPD time, hence the 3GB
