I don't get this thread.-
How does one actually get banned here.
Surely not just for saying a rude word or even for being a troll?
(and how do you find out someone is banned anyway, not that I can be bothered to check)

Generally, it's a result of a series of things, rather than a one-off. Sometimes, it's a one-off that takes it too far. Sometimes, it might be a pre-emptive strike. Sometimes, it's a ban for a revisiting banned user under a different name (e.g. "cash cash cash", "el dudester").
If you look in the user profile, it says "Banned" instead of the "Godlike" or whatever. They also disappear from the main members pages unless you specifically search for the user.Comment
