I'm going to visit my dear old (87) mother in Cornwall, so will be taking her out shopping and maybe for a meal. Aren't I a good son!? Shame I'm not a good husband.

W/e
Fri/pm : Couple of drinks after work
Sat/pm: Black-tie pre-Xmas party
Sunday: With family
Slightly puzzled when - asked generally what they're up to at the w/e - people say that they are going to watch sport on TV at home. Not even making the effort to go to their local. 'Staying-in' the new 'Going-out' for some it seems.Comment

Friday : WOW
Saturday : WOW
Sunday : WOWOf all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Playing a bit of Crysis this evening with a voddie or two.
Sat am: Good old Dad is coming over to do some DIY jobs for me that I can't be bothered to do myself
Sat afternoon: Good old boyf is coming over to help me rearrange my front room to maximise the surround sound set up to make gaming/movies more fun
Sat pm: Testing out new front room layout with games and movies and voddie
Sun am: Probably won't see the morning (other than from the not going to bed end)
Sun afternoon: Finally get out of bed, boyf goes home, housework (ooh, a shiny thing, I'll faff with that instead...), or pop round to M&D's for dinner if I can't be bothered to cook
Sun pm: Packing and ironing for the week ahead, get an early nightComment
