I always think scallops are onions.

I've ordered dishes with them in about 5 times now, and each time I'm like "ewwww - that's chewy fishy stuff, yuk". I think I must get them confused with shallots.
    That's shallot!

    Usually called at last orders!

    Btw, chewy scallops are overcooked.

I once played the SAS at Rugby. Came out of it surprisingly well. Mainly because they are mostly small guys - can run long distances all day long etc but not at all when I am hanging onto them.

. . . or possibly a combination of shallots and scallions (spring onions)?
          The vegetarian option.

So did we! Unfortunately they fielded a couple of Kiwi and Aussies - we got trounced.!

No. Did it when I was at uni as was in the TA. Didn't want to do it as I though I was going to get stuffed (having not played rugby for 5 years) but it worked out ok.
