      There's a margin of error of £1, use your common sense and select the most appropriate option.

                      £400.50 is more than £400, so it is between £400 - £600. The only grey area is if you earn say £400 exactly, in that case select the higher of the two available choices which feature the figure '£400', in this case the between £400 - £600 option.
