I've dodged downturns before by swapping countries. Next time I plan on doing stuff all instead.

Did you get the four figure contract ? Were you off to Goa or Oz ?

I quoted four figures because I didn't want the contract, so far I'm lucky. I am off to Goa next Sunday for 3 months. I will be looking for a new role in March. Hope thing will have picked up by then.

From what I have see, you will get to have the last laugh on that one. Just don't let it eat you up. Get on with your life, make plans and do something that will make you happy.
