I received an email this morning informing me of a change of procedure to their online banking service.
They provided a link, which I clicked on, which took me to a page that had a Nat West header, then loads of fields in which I had to put my name, address, log in details, passwords, etc etc.
It looked REALLY REALLY authentic...maybe apart from the things you normally get on a head, like a link to home, contact us, etc.
The thing that initially tipped me off that it was a scam was that I'm NOT actually a member of Nat West. But if I was, and I wasn't so IT literate, I would have definately fallen for this one. Like I say - it had the nat West header at the top of the page!!
I really worry for some people out there - completely open for abuse because of the internet (and their nievity/stupidity).
