    I do.

What I object to is the rest of the needless plastic packaging that accompanies everything you buy.

Our plastic recycling bin fills up way faster than the others (paper, glass).

      String bags are carp.

Anyway I've gotten so fed up of those thin bags from supermarkets filling my house and bin, I've taken to reusing thicker bags anyway.

All plastic bags have a small hole or two in them anyway, so if you don't use two they leak.

Much less than a paper bag.

Bizzare, that was my reaction on hearing this on Breakfast news.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

So much control of peoples lives.

Every single thing you own or do is being watched, monitored, charged for and banned.

A better answer is to do the shopping online. It's a shame though that they deliver it in 10 times as many plastic bags as I'd have used. You'd have thought they could just stick it all in a crate and empty that when they get to your house.
