My dad shoots squirrels with his shotgun from his balcony. He doesn't have a rocking chair yet but it would complete the image.

The splash damage causes some friction between him and my mum as large chunks of wisteria have been blown away over the years. It looks like something from Pan's Labyrinth now.

I think it is better to humanely catch them. Then hold them for 48 for interrogation under the Terrorist Act.

Perhaps apply psychological torture techniques to try and get a confession out of them. After that, charge them and let them stand trial. Then put them away for life.
