We won!
Knowing every single square on a Monopoly board edged us in front in the last round.
The Geography round was bloody hard though, and we had our Joker on that.
Thanks everyone. Not all of your handy facts came up, but they were very useful nonetheless.Comment

Which Monopoly? I'd have known the Star Wars Original Trilogy board, but that doesn't come up too often.Originally posted by wendigo100 View PostWe won!

Ah, the prize comes in two parts.Originally posted by oracleslave View Post

Part one is the dosh, but it is a tradition that the winners donate it to the charity box.
Part two is that we get to compile and present next month's quiz.
If you like you can contribute some suitable questions, which would be gratefully received. December's quiz will have a Christmas theme.

I can quite imagine the blank looks if that particular version had come up last night.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostWhich Monopoly? I'd have known the Star Wars Original Trilogy board, but that doesn't come up too often.
Or the Ulan Batar version. No, it was the traditional London version.
We once had a round where nobody scored any points. It was about 18 months ago, and if I recall correctly, it was on "famous" quotes.Comment

http://www.quiz-zone.co.uk has some good questions - there are usually some Santa picture rounds in there, for example.Originally posted by wendigo100 View PostAh, the prize comes in two parts.

I went to one last year where the answers to each question linked to the twelve days of Christmas somehow - e.g. "How is escaped fugitive Richard John Bingham better known?"Comment
