The problem is that most of the people who get to work at 8am or earlier they think they are smarter because of that. This only is enough to show how smart they really are.

Oh and by the way that puts you on the pair with the majority of swiss people.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Many companies have operated flexi time for years now, yet there is a prevailing attitude of work before 9 being more worthy. I thought this was just a remnant from those who worked before flexi time, yet the place I work now has many 20 some things and few of them exploit the benefits of a flexible system. There aren't even core hours here yet I am the latest in every day.

Back to the original question, I often wear a suit, because you can get away with more if you look smart.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Anywhere between 8 (if I cant sleep) and 10 (if I had a hard night ) but the average is between 9 and 9.30. I prefer to miss the traffic and not be stressed out with sitting in a traffic queue by the time I get to work.

I don't wear a suit for anyone - not even to interviews.... Even at my current gig which is defined as smart-casual, I have quietly introduced black jeans and trainers - I'm paid for what I do not what I look like

Start at 6am finish at 2pm. Love it.

Plus it means I only spend 5 hours with the permies - 3 hours of quiet time to get tulip done. The first 3 hours are by far the most productive of my day.

I do shifts so either I'm I'm either leaving the house in pitch black (6am) or I'm strolling along with the unemployed (11am).

BTW, who wears suits these days?

If you are a trader or a salesperson or in any job that operates at the "operational" end of a business then you work according to your clients/customers needs. These people have no choice but on the other hand they tend to be the most important part of a companies workforce. If on the other hand you carry out work that can be done anywhere at any time then you are not worth s**t

                Can't answer your poll.

As long as I'm contactable by phone from around 830am then it doesn't matter when I go into the "office" and what I'm wearing.

Actually I'd say the opposite (for IT at any rate) - long hair and scruffy clothes can work wonders for image and qdos with the management
