The M3 does make a great sound though, someone on site here has a metalic yellow one (sounds a disgusting colour but looks good). The metallic yellow ones and light blue ones look ace i think - they suit the car perfectly.
.... most people hate those colours and find them a bit garish.
Im making a point of indicating as much as possible in mine - although the temptation to make moves on roundabouts you normally wouldnt in a slower car is addictive, hence the 'cut you up' reputation for bimmer drivers
