Ahem - an unfortunate spelling mistake there.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostI'd rather gorge out my minds eye.
Sal babe - 19/7 is technically 'clinically obese', but I've met you and I could get my arms around you without dislocating them - so you're not that large.
SA is more cuddly than anything else. I would recommend you lose a bit if you can - and if you take that decision then the only way is hard work. You know I'm not exactly supersized - but I have a slight belly I want to flatten and to build my upper body and work on general fitness etc - to that effect I joined a health club recently and have been going 3 times a week for at least 2 hours each time.
Do about an hour of cardiovascular stuff while watching telly, half-hour on the bike for a warm-up and another half-hour on a x-trainer later on. Went for an induction and have a personal trainer (whose only purpose is to nag me to train). Swim, work on resistance-weights contraptions and thinking about joining the body combat classes - as well as relaxing in the sauna or steam room.
I can see why it's quite addictive - you get a real buzz from exercising, and generally feel better all round, physically, mentally. Eating healthier food is a no-brainer really - cutting the cakes/takeaways/sugar/salt and processed garbage is just something you have to do if you want to feel better. Seriously - it makes such a difference mate.

Addendum: I've known ppl on weight watchers/slimfast/atkins and all sorts of 'fad' diet programmes - and I've never seen any of them work. The only results I've seen have been those sticking to ol' fashioned 'eat healthier, exercise more' ways.
One problem is def metabolism - you need to speed that metabolism up.Last edited by realityhack; 25 October 2007, 13:08.Comment

Maybe a little - don't want to look pasty and out of shape for the photos. It's not that mainly though - now I'm past 30 I figure I could go down one of 2 roads: the healthy one and the 'don't give a hoot one'. I know I want to be healthy, have energy and fitness etc for wife, kids, lifestyle etc. for a while.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostYou've got the wedding day jitters too then?
Just a simple lifestyle choice to try and live it to the full.Comment

SA - I've posted my Slimfast experiences on your Slimfast thread.
You are right to ignore the eejits on here making assumptions about what you are like based on a single statistic.

Yeah she could be very skinny with a 12 stone bust
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

You're going to look gorgeous on your photo's man - and even if you dont, you'll make the bride look better, so you win there tooOriginally posted by realityhack View PostMaybe a little - don't want to look pasty and out of shape for the photos. I know what you mean though - theres something which happens n your 30's which makes you at least aware of the healthy path. I guess the closer you get to 40, the more you start to do something about it, or give up!The pope is a tard.Comment
