There was some controversy last year or this about a Muslim woman wanting to swim in one, but her council said no because one stupid fat racist made a comment. It was reported in The Mail about how bad it was that Muslims want to swim, I think - I read a follow-up where the woman (who's a journalist as well) pointed out that no-one actually spoke to her and all the hype was based on hearsay.Comment
