Hmm, interesting the first game of football that I watched happened to be England vs Germany in 1996.

        Flower of Scotland

        O flower of Scotland
        When will we see
        Your like again
        That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen
        And stood against him
        Proud Edward's army
        And sent him homeward
        Tae think again
Why do the Scots sing this to wind up the English when Edward II was a homosexual Welshman?

Wasn't it written about the Battle of Bannockburn which was Edward II (who was also largely of French descent as well as being the 'only gay in the village')?

I'm prepared to stand corrected on this. If I am wrong, I prefer my interpretation anyway.

Yes - it was about Bannockburn, Edward II, Welsh decent and allegedly gay.

Chico must have made an impact here.

                You all believe in miracles.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Hey Greece won it last time. And England are in the Rugby World Cup final.
                  So miracles do occur.

Seems to me that this time British folk will stay home eating chips and watching others play football at Euro 2008...

Romania already qualified so I'm planning for some continental trips next year...

Anyway will suport you in the RWC final, hope to see a great game...
