No, he needs to be in a wider parking space so he can get out. If someone parked too close to him, he'd be wedged in.

When I lived in America, our screen door didn't open properly on the patio - only about two feet or so. One of my brothers mates came over one night, insisted he could fit through, and got wedged in there - he was stuck for a while, and in the end ripped the buttons off his shirt in an attempt to get in or out. Not a pretty sight.

Reminds me of the Peter Cook thing about Liz Taylor:

She’d blown up again, and a spokesman had attributed it to her glands. And Peter Cook said, “Yes, poor woman. It is something for which we should be extremely sympathetic, because she is sitting there in her hotel, and she’s calmly knitting or watching television, and her glands get up, pick up the telephone, and order a tray of éclairs and a bottle of Courvoisier. ‘No!’ screams Miss Taylor. But it’s too late. The order’s gone through. Five minutes later, there’s a ring on the door. She puts her back against it, but the glands wrench her aside, open the door, sign the bill…”

They'll probably have industrial scale weighing machines at the entrances to offices and anyone who is considered to be "overweight" (probably over 20 stones) has to walk up the stairs rather than take the lift. If they remain at that weight for more than a week then they are fined.
        It's Deja-vu all over again!

I'm massively overweight. Why? Partly because I'm lazy. But mostly because I eat loads! I'm greedy. I cant say no to food - I love it the same way other people love drink, or sports, or hobbies. Its my most treasured pleasure - stuffing my face with as much lard as possible.
And anyone who says "it's a common misconception that fat people eat a lot - actually they are just as healthy as you. It is a disease/disorder/genetic trait/etc" is talkin a load of b*llocks.

          Its NOT my employers fault.
Its NOT because my mam didn't breast feed me ffs
Its NOT because my city isn't hilly enough

What a bunch of overpaid retards.

You took the words right out of my mouth - I love lard, and if I'm fat it's my own goddamn fault. I'll see you all at my early funeral - pies will be served at my expense. Mmmmm.... pies.

I hate this pervading attitude of 'don't blame people' - if we're plagued by hoodies, it is precisely their fault and the fault of their parents. If people binge drink, it is their fault because they bloody well want to. If people get divorced for having an affair, it's precisely their fault for not keeping it in their pants. Grow up, say I, and take responsibility for your own actions.

Some years ago, I went to see David Baddiel live, and he did a fat joke, followed by:

Someone came up to me after a show last week and said that I shouldn't do fat jokes, because some of us can't help being the way we are.

And I said, "you're right. I'm sorry. I'd forgotten that some of you can't help STUFFING YOUR F***ING FACES! Have I got room for a 10th cream cake, oh I think so!!"

              That's awesome!

If they ever do another series of little britain, you should maybe write a few lines for the fat fighters sketches.

We really should be concerned about these "fatties", if they really are costing the health service (probably because they are breaking all of the chairs and beds), then ultimately we will have to pay more tax.

I think they are injurying the nurses who have to lift 'em out of bed. That's one of the reasons so many nurses go off sick.

I expect this kind of thing is the shape of things to come

Lancashire Fire Service could begin charging for its help in moving obese people from their homes.

Crews have been called out a number of times to people weighing more than 30 stones (191kg), a spokesman said.

The potential fee would be levied on nursing homes, hospitals, the police and other agencies which often ask for help - but not individuals, he added.
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

                    Why not charge the chubbers?

Now there's a slogan - maybe Labour could use it in the next election campaign.
