Dealing with interviewers of the other color .

I sometimes wish I could see things in such simple terms. But just for a laugh I'll rise to the challenge:the 2 major colors of humans
well, China is the world's most populous country, with India a close second. So the first "major color of humans" must be a kind of yellowish tan, and the other "major color" would be nutty brown.
I don't know which of these you are, but either way, you could have broken the ice with your interviewer by discussing which of your respective nations has the best takeaways and/or chess players.
If you're not of either of these major colors, you must be of some crappy confusing minority-colour. In this case you should paint yourself in order to keep things simple.

I think you may find that racialist is the correct term. It has been bastardised into the commonly accepted racist.Originally posted by daviejones View PostWhat is a racialist?I am not qualified to give the above advice!

I've never been interviewed by "the other colour" but (answerring quite honestly) I think it'd probably be different to "same colour".Originally posted by 2uk View PostDo you have success with these ? Problems ? Advice ?
I had an interview with the other color. The poor guy looked very uncomfortable with the fact. Looking strangely around , making unconnected body moves ... I played "I don't notice" since I don't have problems with the other color but at times the problem is with them.
Anyway , another lost interview
I'd never thought about this before, but if it was an "other colour" woman I'd probably be very intimidated, as they (generally) seem to be very stylish and sassy...and I'd be sitting there all pale and washed out, with my drab black suit on. I'd feel dull and John Major-ish.
And if it was an "other colour" bloke, I'd probably blush and be thinking of how attractive I found him...and possibly think of his knob quite a bit, which would be unsettling in an interview situation.
We're all racialists to a certain extent I think - cant help but have stereotypes of people. Its human nature I guess. The pope is a tard.Comment

I also lost an interview yesterday. It seems interviews for contracting are getting even tougher than ever. I was even asked sql syntaxes and questions from all over the oracle manuals.
FFS its only 6 months contract ,not a lifetime job.Comment

Remember though, it's only unsettling if he moves the desk with it.Comment
