Yeah, but immigrants are stepping on your land, breathing your air and drinking your water.I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light. -

Irony, that misunderstood.Originally posted by SandyDown View PostFranko , are you forgetting that you and your wife are immigrantd too?
However, getting tired to be an immigrant too, might go back to Dolce Vita soon.
As I said I find it funny when people are so arrogant to believe that they own the part of the earth where they were accidentally born. And to hear funny things like people would happily half their house price instead of having immigrants. No, they would not at all and indeed they would call an immigrant plumber to pay less for repairing it.I've seen much of the rest of the world. Despite it being one of this Board's favourite topics there seems to be a lot of vagueness about the term 'immigrants'
All the EU mob are legal to live here. The fact that lots of them are legal to work here is a direct result of massive political mismanagement and miscalculation. If they had the same rights all over the european union, there simply would not be the same number of people 'swamping' the board bumpkins' neighbourhoods.
Illegal immigration (presumably from outside the EU area) is a different matter, and if anyone here thinks the massive global population movements that are underway will be halted by Britain embarking on a bout of standalone dailymailism is p1ss1ng into the wind.
By the way, supposing you quit the EU and deport all of its citizens who are polluting your fair isle - is that a zero consequence game?Comment
