Isn't the driver on here?"If you can read this, thank a teacher....and since it's in English, thank a soldier" -

Seriously, why blame satnav??? Surely this is a case of the driver not knowing the size of his vehicle and trying to squeeze through a gap that would not accomodate him.
Exactly the same thing could have happened if he was using a road map.
tulip driver IMHO, not a satnav problem.Comment

I wonder who paid for the large recovery lorry ?
I wonder if the driver paid any fines
you can rest assured had a British driver made such an error on the continent then would have been a list of fees to be paid immediately before the driver can resume the journey

Games to play with your satnav.
1. Input route.
View route.
Run demo rout at 120%.
Drive to catch up arrow.
2. Select language Turkish.
Turn off screen.
Try to follow instructions."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

I seriously doubt it.
Edit: Thats an English wagon anyway. Or a foreign wagon breaking cabotage rules. I mean why would a foreigner want a RHD vehicle unless they are over here a lot.Last edited by Sockpuppet; 22 August 2007, 12:16.Comment
