Yeah yeah heard all that 'Gay' crap before, worth driving a Racing Puma not the bogo standard 1.7. Not the fastest but could out handle most stuff, plus it was cheap to run and insure. I went to an Audi S3 after the Puma, had the Audi remapped out to 270bhp, and though the Audi is better built and not as 'gay', in terms of driver satisfaction I defo prefered the Puma.
Clean one in the case of the Puma means, something that hasnt been tracked alot. The Racing Puma is a different beast to the standard Puma.
A dieselish 155bhp with 0-60 8 secs, pretty slow by todays standards. The old ford illusion of feeling fast, actually down to the poor build quality/ soundproofing. Mind you sometimes it's better to have the fun at low speeds
hmmm
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

It had a little over 105bhp and 0-60 of 9ish seconds yet it felt fast

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
I miss my sky blue baby from back in the day (mid 80's)
It had no footwell on the passenger side, well, it just had a big peice of rust there with a big hole in the middle; made a great way to keep a close eye on road conditions, but front seat passengers had to travel with their feet on the dash!
The distributor had a mind of it's own and was forever twisting out of position, this was remedied by me guessing at the timing and welding the bloody thing to the engine block. After that it ran 'flawlessly' for years.
The beast could regularly be seen prowling the south coast, full of hippy types, TheThe on the stereo and a clutch of surfboards tied to the roof.
