A school mate of mine lived next door to Russ Abbott's mum. Nice lady.

      Warning: Embarrassing confession follows!!!

Firstly, I was 18 and knew nowt, so please be kind!

I joined the SDP (remember them?) in '87. Became a Uni SDP arse. Went to see Dr. David Owen at an SDP gig in London. This was the day after the Big Storm that Michael Fish so famously poo-pooed. Anyway, David (as we ex-SDP folk like to call him) turned up, was charming, funny, and obviously a right brainbox.

He predicted the Berlin Wall coming down within 5 years. We all looked at each other in a "Oh dear! He's mad!" sort of way - but how right he was.

He failed to predict the SDP falling down, though.

I once told Mike Harding to pi55 off.

My mums cousin is Paula Wilcox - the one with the brown hair out of man about the house. Never met her though.

My brother was sworn at my Esther Rantzen for using his mobile outside her office.

I know somebody who claimed to have had a wee on Anita Dobson

A guy I went to uni with works with Bruce Dickinson (from Iron Maiden)

My sister went out with a guy whoose sister was dating the cousin of the guitarist from Nick Haywoods band - I think!

When I was a kid my horse was rented by the beeb and was on juliet bravo
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!

            You hail form Chester then?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Not really - my horse was a girl, so a bit of girl on equine girl action.

My g/f once worked in a hotel where Sir Cliff Richard was staying, she spilt orange juice over him, he was very nice apparently. He also had a young man visit his room of a night.

Sir Cliff is quite fond of a young Buck's Fizz.

A mate of mine is a cousin to Cliff Richard.

My sister-in-law once worked with Johnny Wilkinson's mum.

When working on a gig at the Beeb, I bumped into Jimmy Young, bloody nice bloke.

When my wife and son-in-law appeared (and won) on a Christmas edition of Jim Davidson's Generation Game, after the show I went backstage to the green room and met Jim Davidson. What a pompous, stuck-up-his-own-@arse, typical 'luvvie' tw@t he appeared to be!

My brother's pub re-opening was attended by Hannah Gordon, she was luuurvly.

Met Raymond Baxter in above pub - a real gentleman.

Also met James Burke in same pub, different occasion, another bloody nice bloke.

Met Sir Trevor McDonald after he appeared as an after-dinner speaker at our local cricket club dinner, very entertaining speaker and down-to-earth nice guy.

Once went to a Pink Floyd concert with members of a band called The Enid. Rock band few people have heard of but they did the backing music on-album for Kim Wilde. Met Kim after the concert, nice girl but shy at the time.
