35 year old Omega. It has the same movement as taken on the Apollo Moon missions. Wind up and no batteries and it is still accurate within +/- 3 seconds per month still looks as new."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George Orwell -
I bought a Turkish Tag once, it was a mechanical kinetic type with a glass back and you could see all the intricate movements, I was quite impressed for a tenner but it stopped working after a year, I think it was made to pass as genuine Tag for a lot more money but they didn't count on people being so knowledgeable and decided to flog them off dirt cheap rather than be stuck with them.
Good try but no cigar.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I have a Breitling Navitimer made the year I was born (1960), given to me by an ex Canberra pilot who wore it during his service with the RAF. Still looks the part.Comment

I think that was the default tune for any Sunday market watch, the real classy ones could play 'Yankee doodle dandy' and the 'William tell overture', they were so cool when I was 12.
And don’t get me started on the ones that had a golf game, they were 733t.
