Location was Congonhas Airport Sao Paulo, Runway was 35L contanimated (i.e. wet) aircraft A320 with 170 POB, 30 on the ground, no where near Max weight, comments from witnesses on cnn say the aircraft tried to go around atfter touchdown, anything else is speculation.

        Google Earth Location 23 37' 10.77 South, 46 39' 44.18West.

Runway was re-surfaced last month, and grooves are yet to be installed, a 734 went off two months ago, and an ATR last week (twin high wing turboprop)

Can you please stop being so vague and try and supply some facts and figures?

On the theme of putting crazy things like fuel depots at the end of runways…Has anyone been to Legoland in Billund, Denmark? Theme park packed with thousands of kids, right next to the airport. You sometimes have to shout to be heard. What genius planned that?

              It was threaded.

And you wouldn't believe how grateful the parents are, not being able to hear their screaming brats.

threaded was made a Danish Count for that.

Bristol airport was re-surfaced a few months ago and Easyjet refused to use it until grooves were put in place which surprised me as BA were still using it, is ‘grooving’ a common method of drainage on runways?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

You seem to have added an extra 'o' in there.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!
