The ban on patio heaters is coming - you heard it here first.

Smoking ban results in increased CO2 because of the extra heaters that pubs use, so the next ban will be on the heating of smokers. Expect a new law to include smokers houses cannot have heating, electricity or food either.

It seems odd that it was a single bomb. I thought that these days it's bombs set to go off together to cause the maximum impact. This was a single small bomb which was defused. Also it looks like the person/people who planted it managed to draw a lot of attention to themselves.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

200L of fuel + detonator = medium sized explosion, but probably wouldn't cause massive structural damage.

We haven't been told what was wrapped around the fuel yet - this could tell us how professional the perps were.

IF, they were real nasty bar-stewards they would have put the real detonator inside the fuel and left the dummy outside. Ready for it to detonate an hour after discovery.

              But, but

The area was cordoned off while police examined what they described as a "potentially viable explosive device".
A gas cannister is a potentially viable explosive device all by itself, no detonator needed....

Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.
