    Ode to Tony Blair

    Tony Blairs noo awa'
    Safely o'er yon Hill
Many a heart will break in twa
Should he e'er come back again.

Promise us - Will ye no' come back again?
Will ye no' come back again?

Ye trusted in your Hielan' soldier men
    They trusted you, dear Tony
They dinnae kent your lieing wi' that Bush
And to their gory grave they went man

Noo they wished they voted Tory !

Saudi bribes were a' in vain
Tho' puir, and puirer, we maurn be
Silver canna buy the heart man
But yours craves yon Yankee circuit Gold
And the De'il tak the hindermost man !

We watch'd thee in the gloamin' hour
We watch'd thee in the mornin' grey
Tho' thirty thousand lies ye told
Ye'd best run noo as fast as ye can man !

Or just "fuck off", with no capitals, not even an exclamation.

Now he & Levy have gone, can we have the decision from the CPS re:cash for honours
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

                Aye Wendigo

Perhaps your adieu is not so subtle - but it does epitomise what appears to be the most popular sentiment to our illustrious leaders departure.

Now then - Will You Get Fooled Again ?

Meet the New Boss - Same as the Old Boss

Theres been fighting in the streets ...

I tip my head to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution

Pick up my Guitar and Play
                Just like Yesterday
And I get on my knees and pray -
We wont get Blaired again ..

                  ... what an amazing coincidence!!

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair has been questioned for a third time by detectives investigating allegations of "cash-for-honours", it has emerged.
Mr Blair, who left Downing Street on Wednesday, had already become the first PM to be interviewed by police in the course of a corruption inquiry.
Prosecutors had asked Scotland Yard to carry out further inquiries before deciding if charges should be brought.
Those questioned so far, including two of Mr Blair's aides, deny wrongdoing.

A spokesman at Scotland Yard said the Metropolitan Police was "not prepared to discuss" the inquiry, which has already seen at least 136 people being interviewed
