I need to have FESS, and am a bit worride about the potential dangers. Anyone got any advice, good or bad, about it?

Here's someone who nose about it -
Wouldn't worry mate - sounds like a very safe procedure and actually better than normal sinus surgery. Less than half of one-percent chance of complications is statistically insignificant.Hard Brexit now!

The ancient Egyptians used to pull the dead kings brain out through the nose during mummification. Sounds pretty similar to me.
