Wouldn't worry mate - sounds like a very safe procedure and actually better than normal sinus surgery. Less than half of one-percent chance of complications is statistically insignificant.

Is there a safe procedure that stops you getiing up people's noses, by any chance?

The ancient Egyptians used to pull the dead kings brain out through the nose during mummification. Sounds pretty similar to me.

Not this one but in my time I have had the endoscope put up every other orifice, really all of them

, and if I were you I wouldn't worry about the one that you are having.
