I once got stopped for speeding and got away with it.

When the copper pulled me over and asked why I was doing 90mph I told him that I thought he was the copper who my missus had ran off with. And he was bringing her back!

          Is this likely to backfire?
The verdict on the ECHR case dpp vs Francis is due on 28th this month I belive. If Francis wins you don't have much to worry about. Francis' argument was that it is illegal to force you to declare yourself as the driver because it is a violation of human rights. Because the NIP says tell us who was driving or we fine you £1000 and give you 3 points, you are effectivly forced to own up to the crime rather than use your right to silence.

have a look at the pepipo site (google it i have probably got the spelling wrong) to get a letter template you can send the scamera partnership and get it taken to court. It is likely to get thrown out after the 28th anyway.
