I find it amusing to hear people pour scorn on conspiracy theories when in fact we went to war on the basis of a (false) conspiracy thoery - that Iraq was in possesion on WMDs.
If you doubt that the Governments do get involved in conspiracies then I suggest you Google on Operation Northwood and Gulf of Tonkin for some rather interesting examples of what Governemnts can get up to ...

So long as you're at Ground Zero, it doesn't hurt at all when a nuke goes off... just that microsecond of feeling slightly warm.
On the plus side, a good nuclear war will stop people going on about global warming. A bit of global warming might help us get through the nuclear winter.
