CD thinks I have libelled someone else (a public figure - it's on the thread)by saying that CD sounded in some ways like this public figure. As Sasguru pointed out, CD obviously has a low opinion of himself if it's libel to be compared with him.

Don't worry OG, before any libel case gets to court, it has to pass some pretty tight criteria or the courts would be bursting. And if the mods start getting all pissy over it, perhaps we should all do a mass "walk out" of the forum in support.

Well, I wouldn't go to the trouble of actually supporting his rights (particularly as he'd probably have me shot if his sort got to power), but I wouldn't agree with his being banned.
