"Great stuff Tony. So you thought it would be delayed, but she had it early?

Last I heard you had to come down to West London three or four days a week. Are you taking a break or have you got someone to help look after her?"

On Friday they cancelled her 6th June op. Then on Tuesday we got a call to say that she would be having it on Thursday and had to be admitted on wednesday night. Major @rse dropping through the floor moment.

So I've taken this week off. Next week I'll be doing reduced hours - kids are at school and the client is leting me work from home. This will continue until 2 weeks after she comes out - so probably a month all told. Suprised the client (BP) were this easy going considering I'm a Contractor. Especially as this comes hot on the heels of one of their laptops being knicked out of the boot of my car.

    Cheers for all the comments
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!
