Last I heard you had to come down to West London three or four days a week. Are you taking a break or have you got someone to help look after her?"
On Friday they cancelled her 6th June op. Then on Tuesday we got a call to say that she would be having it on Thursday and had to be admitted on wednesday night. Major @rse dropping through the floor moment.
So I've taken this week off. Next week I'll be doing reduced hours - kids are at school and the client is leting me work from home. This will continue until 2 weeks after she comes out - so probably a month all told. Suprised the client (BP) were this easy going considering I'm a Contractor. Especially as this comes hot on the heels of one of their laptops being knicked out of the boot of my car.
