Never.

These really are my darkest thoughts like - I really hope its not true.
I just dont know what it is...they're always together, holding hands. Why haven't they fought and blamed each other yet? Why isn't it the husbands fault? Any normal couple (especially wife/mother) would have acted like a totally irrational lunatic by now! "It was you who wanted to go for food you evil b*stard - get out of my apartment it's all your fault" etc etc etc
Soemthing just doesn't add up.The pope is a tard.Comment

2. How do you know they haven't done the blame thing in private, and they're holding it together in public? If they started fighting in public then they would definitely lose all sympathy.
3. I think they are being incredibly brave in view of the fact that she's probably dead by now. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through.
4. I do have kids.Comment

I said to a few people that I had a feeling she was sold, but no by the parents. It is a possibilty. Anything is possible these days and alot worse as well.Comment

Does anyone care anymore? this saga is worse than coronendersThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

If the parents had £20,000 in cash; they would not leave that in the villa with the back door open. So why did they do it with their child?"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

Or maybe it's like the film ransom. They're involved in it all and somehow will get the ransom money through a 3rd party.Comment

I think there's something very very very strange about this whole Madeline thing.
I'll be the first to admit that I dont have kids, so I dont know what the parents are feeling, but I just think the whole thing has stunk since the get go.
Out for tapas with friends? Without even a baby alarm? And leaving the patio door open for convenience? For years I never went out leaving my step-children of 10 years older without a know and trusted sitter, never mind leaving them alone.
Edit: apparently they probably did have a baby alarm. Seems it's common in such resort restaurants. Sorry for "holier-than-thou" but I've never used one like that. Someone needs to be there, that's all.Last edited by Euro-commuter; 29 May 2007, 17:06.God made men. Sam Colt made them equal.Comment
