Mrs Gonzo wanted to go and watch Footloose (the musical).
It was on in the West End last year and at least I would have been straight home afterwards but she never mentioned it all the time it was on.
So now she decides that she wants to see it and we have to go somewhere else and see it while it is on tour. The choice was Southampton or Reading really.
And if the reviews on tripadviser.com are anything to go by I have booked us into a really sh1t hotel.

The only consolation is that I would rather spend it at home watching the cricket on TV and it looks like the weather is not playing ball so I would be sat at home watching rain delays if we weren't going.Comment
