Nah, I still reckon Southend. Although it's only five miles from Basildon, there are more pubs with karaoke nights and you can probably get a better fish and chip meal, caught fresh in the Thames Estuary.

Surely, if it's real sun, sand and shootings, then St Oysth in Clacton has to be the top of the caravan park list.

And St Osyth has a nudie beach......but all the wimmen are wrinkly cos they is old like...
