I read the article she wrote yesterday and it was pretty innocuous stuff - it just seemed like the usual NL piffle to placate whoever needed placating. In this case, labour voters switching to the BNP.

She did make the reasonable point about how citizenship should be contingent on being able to speak the language and IIRC some stuff about thwarted sense of entitlement by the locals.

Still, I can't see it being anything other than tactical waffle as NL can't let themselves be put under the spotlight on this as they basically did not manage the migration issues in any meaningful way.

Having spent much of my time in Dubai I can honestly say that it is one messed up country with many many problems...however...they got one thing absolutely right...they look after the UAE Nationals who are pretty much above the law and their indiscretions are paid for by the ex-pats...

This is our country and whilst I welcome different cultures that I think bring great value to our society, it should never be forgotten that this is our land!

Why won't they go back? I believe that unless there is a damn good reason for them to be here, then they should go back. I have no issue with people working here as long as they pay tax and abide by our laws but being in the country illegaly is not acceptable and they should be repatriated.

If they then commit crime here, rather than put them in jail, we should send them back to serve time in their own country.

We cannot keep accepting people that our country and social system cannot sustain.

What is wrong with this country, we have to pay for people we never wanted in the first place, people who sponge off you and I and receive preferential treatment, and then bleat about it. This sticks in the throat a little. You can say they pay taxes but not enough for what they get in return, you can say some of ours do the same but the difference is they are ours and deserve more of a chance than crass replacement. Stop imports now, clear out all who should not be here now. No asylum at all.

I’d like to deal with two groups of imports that are causing social problems by their very presence in our land. We have a group of people in our midst that under no circumstances will allow their women to mix with any other group, I think they think we are inferior. It is pretty clear that we white boys would be mad to even talk to a Muslim girl and I guess it’s the same for all other non Muslim colours/religions/creeds/denominations. The Blackburn panorama program gave another example where a young white girl was in mortal danger for simply being seen with a Muslim lad. This is how it is they will never accept us and will never integrate into our society, which they clearly despise. Their numbers will continue to grow at the already alarming rate until vast areas are taken over. They will gather more and more clout in the country by bleating every time someone criticises them or horror of horror arrests a group of poor victimised terrorists. They also play the system and make it easier for the growth of their own in our country to rapidly expand. The Somali Bus driver who took 200 driving tests for his compatriots in this country released 200 people who were not properly qualified to drive onto our roads or perhaps allowed them to illegally stay in our country due to their improved document status. He was given 12 months sentence back in September 2006 and is now presumably out to explore other fraudulent activity.

We have a housing shortage, no local authority housing should be given to foreign people at all. If those who preach from on high want to, perhaps they can put up these people free of charge in their own homes. That would be fairer than them suggesting they live in houses that by design are meant for our own less fortunate people. They are basic houses in run down areas; if our own people cannot have these then what the hell can they have?

In the town here we have many many stories of the local authority giving houses to Polish immigrants and the like who arrived no more than a year or two ago. This whilst our own people wait and wait, and sensibly wait further to have families, a futile wait because Eastern EU people breed them down the list. The 'not so fine already' schools in these areas also suffer as the number of non English speaking students make it impossible to cater for anything but catch up programs that are then required. Of course catch up will never happen as the next lot arrive constantly, by the bus load every day in Slough we hear. Pretty soon we'll need Polish speaking teachers to give our new people a 'fair' chance. Then what of the resultant chances of our own once more?

If we don't act now our cities will be overrun and there will be nothing left for peace loving Brits but to move out. Inevitably, as we see already signs of, in semi-rural places everywhere they will settle and eventually drive us into the hills. History, as written by the marxists in charge, will state it our fault for not getting on with in migrants but fail to mention that we did not want or ask for them. Our pensions will be worse but there will be some excuse for that too, that no doubt was our own doing, clearly.

Ever get the feeling that despite all this madness we the sane people of this country are the real problem? They say it enough after all, pretty soon it will take on a religion all of it's own and will become a truism.

There is little variability in people’s views that British born people should come first when handouts are given particularly when it comes to our limited stock of housing. This is a natural extension of looking after ones own, no one in their right mind would suggest their child not receive discrimination when it comes to ones inheritance. Where should this natural instinct for discrimination end? If it comes to me giving some money to a charity I have to say the local hospice or eye or cancer research in this country come thousands of miles before overseas causes (which I have chosen never to give to). Of course if there is no affinity with ones country of residence then this argument is and rightly should be reversed (we patriots cannot expect other nations not to be patriotic about theirs). We the British born people should acknowledge this and bear in mind when foreign nationals cry racism, it’s quite natural for them to wish to discriminate in favour of their own and that is not we. I see their discrimination; some would say racism, as nothing more than we exhibit which is perfectly natural ‘looking after your own’ behaviour.

Let’s have a level discriminatory society where all can exhibit their natural biases for people who are more/most akin to themselves. After working many years in another country had I lost my job I would not have been eligible to even stay, that after paying huge amounts of tax over a prolonged period. This is how it should be, it’s simply economic sense and given we haven’t got loads of dough to spare it makes even more sense to give that to our own unfortunate people who have been discarded far too long. Unfortunately many in this country have an over inflated opinion of themselves and believe we can take on the worlds problems, after all we created them all. We are an insignificant country and I say we should withdraw back from the worlds problems and sort out our own problems caused by these people and their fatuous ideas about our standing/obligations.

When I had finished University we had an 18 month old child and after being on the council list for 3 years we got a two bed flat, it was not in a great area but are there any? We stayed in the place for 18 months until my regular salary began to come in from lecturing and we bought a modest 3-bed house. It was a struggle for a while until my career progressed a little. I was fortunate to have my children young and a good education, and now they are grown I can enjoy the freedom. Despite all 5 being 19-28 I have no grandchildren nor can any of them afford to furnish me with any, so don’t. That’s 9 people paying tax, private rents and not making their lives impossible by breeding just now. Pretty soon if they are to not leave it too late to experience the wonders of parenthood they will require my help. They are somewhat lucky as I was (the system was there for me), but how many unfortunates cannot see any way out of their lives penny pinching to get by in private flats or living with parents. How easy would it be without guidance and a few supportive bob now and again to fall into the trap that many do and live off the state?

The sort of people who leave their country of birth to look for a better life here, supported by a system that encourages them to take the pee, are more than a match for our own who have perhaps lived a sheltered life free from having to fight for every penny they get. This is our next generation and how we treat them does not encourage me that this country will survive beyond our generation in a way/standard that we have become to expect in our own once beautiful country. It will surely become a place devoid of national character where disparate groups vie for any morsel to improve their life, and if that means walking all over less fortunate souls then so it seems BE IT.
