A couple of years ago, me and some friends were brainstorming about possible Plan B's when one of them proclaims that he has a genius idea which was a sure fire money making idea - topless car washing.
Unfortunately, he failed to factor in our limited summers and the idea was quickly dismissed.
Hmm, now now with global warming a permanant feature of our climate, perhaps it's time to dust down that business plan.Comment

Indoors. You have to do that to stop people looking in and getting a freebe.Originally posted by ClippyUnfortunately, he failed to factor in our limited summers and the idea was quickly dismissed.Comment

There's definitely money to be made in hand car washes.
A couple of years ago a BP petrol station on a busy A-road near me closed down. The site lay empty for about a year until someone bought it and after a few more months some industrious eastern europeans opened a hand car wash there.
I was talking to a friend recently who happens to knows the chap who owns the site and he said he is getting about £1500 - £2000 a week from the eastern europeans in rent.
The eastern europeans must be clearing a fair amount to be able to afford the rent alone.Comment

I wouldn't get too excited about these topless ventures. About 10 years ago a topless bar opened in town. We all piled down thinking it's going to be great. They'd only gone and found the skankiest women they could, some looked to be the wrong side of 50. Gah, makes my balls shrivel just thinking about it. A few weeks later they had a new recruit who I knew via a friend of a friend and went by the affectionate nickname of "sloppy sue", so at least we got served quicker and could spend as little time as necessary at the bar.
Sometimes nostalgia leads to nausia. I'm preying for altzheimers to set me free from those particular visions.
That was before all the cheap eastern european imports though, so maybe times have changed for the better."If it floats, flies, or f***s, lease it." - Evel Knievel when he wasn't jumping buses or womenComment
