Good point Mr Troll. Is this the premier contractors' community, which also operates and franchises some services of interest to contractors? Or is it a business like any other, and we are just the punters?God made men. Sam Colt made them equal. -

If I was Gordo I would come on sites like this and pretend to be a Joe Bloggs contractor with tips on how to avoid me...but here's the twist...I would give out tips that actually make no difference to your chances of getting investigated, but do encourage you to claim less than you are entitled to in order to ensure more of your hard earned cash goes in my pocket whilst officially saying I support small businesses!! Clever huh...

SA may have been purely unlucky but I think the 28K expenses may have stood out if some HMRC bod was asked to look through a pile of annual accounts with a view to picking on someone !?

I wonder how much he owes the members of this site?Originally posted by Lucifer BoxHe'll be six foot under if I ever catch up with the coont. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

Funnily enough I just stumbled across my witness statement while looking for something else. The thieving coont had £260 off me and I didn't see a penny of it back. Guess there wasn't much left for the likes of me once the taxman had put their claim in.Originally posted by BagpussI wonder how much he owes the members of this site?
So the moral of the story is, be very very careful with products advertised via CUK.
