Spent all weekend in decorating mode, painting walls and woodwork. Made mega progress which earned me lots of brownie points with the wife. Went out for a Thai on Saturday night. Quite relaxing really.

I spent a few hours repotting strawberries into larger pots, then putting together a chees and wine party for the missus.
The rest of the time I played CIV IV online with other geeks, drinking fozzies and having a thoroughly good time.

Most certainly. Lodge meeting in Manchester Friday. Out for a lunch with Girly on Saturday. Back to Cambridge Saturday evening. A spot of gardening Sunday morning. Pub Sunday afternoon for a couple of pints and a game of crib.

        Splendid.

Hard luck. I've just bought, and it was nerve-wracking to see how far in I was, for how long, while the seller could simply decide against on a whim, and that would be the end of it.

First time I've bought in England. It does seem to me respectfully that both England and Scotland could learn something from each others' systems.

It is indeed a mockery of a sham of a process. Really can't be bothered with viewing houses again and speaking to frikkin estate agents, but seeing as Xeno Towers is sold I guess I ought to find somewhere to replace it with...

'tis annoying. Looks like the buyer for my place is sound though so fingers-crossed. I will certainly lose the plot if I lose my new place and my buyer in the same week!

Crap weekend spent in front of the computer brushing up on old skills, but compensated for today after getting a well paid 3 month contract just 4 miles from home...
