Iran threatens to 'Wipe Scotland off the Map'

An ashen faced John Reid confirmed that Iran has threatened to wipe Scotland off the map.

Mr Reid commented 'If the current Polls in Scotland are correct and the SNP win the local then national elections - their reckless policy of Scotlands abandonment of Trident and Nulcear Weapons means that Scotland will be wiped off the map by Iran - I have seen the documents which confirm this - but for Security purposes I cannot reveal them at this point in time'

'The only way to ensure security for Scotland then is to vote New Labour in the next Scottish Elections'

No comment was available from the Tehran Emabassy - however on the way to the embassy an Iranian exile Cab Driver (Mr Highlee Unlikelee) confirmed that the story ' rang true' .
