    Trafford

You're all right about the quality on offer at COM these days. It can be painful.

Mr pedant, Trafford isn't a county it's an administrative district. Alrincham is in Trafford borough, but is in the country of Cheshire.

If you address a letter to someone in Altrincham you would never even mention Trafford.

    Now the district of manchester united reside in is Old Trafford, but the location is Manchester;

Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 0RA
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Geography was never my strong suit lol. But the trafford in the name should have given it away. It's like years ago a few of us went to a pre season thing at Man City which involved ManU. We asked the taxi driver to pick us up where he dropped us off, but we didn't know the street name. So I asked one of the true mancs what the street was called and was told

      'Maine Road coont!'
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

Neither is it his, there is no county or city called Trafford.

Yes I agree Tony. All these talks are unfair. Man Utd played a fantastic game and clearly outclassed Roma and it wasn't easy even so it looks easy after. I still believe that a good Roma in full formation could have had a chance and it's a real disappointment that they sinked in such a horrible way. I think the greatest mistake was to underestimate the enemy. The best tactic would have been to play the classic boring "catenaccio". If I was the coach I would have done that as this was the only chance to stand a great Man Utd with a reduced Roma in a bad shape.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Francko, your English has deteriorated alarmingly over the last couple of months. Are you working back home?

What goes round comes round. Until the last few years it was Italians then the Spanish clubs that paid silly money and bought up the best players in the world. It's now the turn of English clubs.

I agree it makes the Champions League a rich man's club for getting richer, but at least we had a couple of underdog winners recently in Porto and Liverpool. No such luck here in the English League - for most of the last dozen years there's only been two clubs ever in with a shout, and Chelsea had to spend a quarter of a billion to catch them up.

This might be "progress", but I preferred the less predictable 1970s when England had six different champions. In the 1960s we had eight.

Was that a terrible writing? I normally write very bad, just because I don't even read what I had just written. Yet I think it is still better than Milan's writing.

Not terrible, just a few more continental affectations than I remember it having before.

And don't blame milan - he's used to scribbling on tape spools.

Manchester is Blue and it kills utd fans because they know it is true......do some research listen to Utd fans being interviewed outside the swamp and you'd struggle to hear a man accent.
