I was trying to make sense of that as well, isn't that what you would call a paradox?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Roma are second in the Italian 'Premiership' - they can't be that crap. I thought their goalie was rubbish, a couple of the goals it looked like he was trying to throw the game...

Roma were bellow par for a quite a few years, they called it 'The Roma Coma' The Italian league form points to an improvement but it just goes to show how strong the English and Spanish leagues have become in recent times.

-real fans so disenfranchised that they form a rebel club.

          - only way to go to games is if you know the right people

-day tripping fans who treat matches like going to a theme park

          -4 new kits a season

-Owned by faceless Yanks who refer to the club as a franchise

          - 620m in debt

-coperae sponsers treated better than fans who have followed the club for generations

          - pre season tours to asia or whever you can get the most bucks for Glazer....

Roma aren't crap but they only have a few good players that when missing can't be replaced by the poor guys on the bench.

Have you seen the first leg? Ok, Man Utd was in 10 but Rome deserved to win 3-4or 5 to 1. Rooney goal was the only action for Man Utd. But unfortunately Rome had to play 100%.

They had to loan Montella for money - he would have been useful tonight for example. Football has become so depressive. Teams cannot compete any longer when you have so many valid players like Chelsea or Man Utd. Take Valencia - it's a good team but they only have a few good players. You can't stand up a team which have 16 good players.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Let's hope McClaren makes note of how our English players should be used. Fast pace attack gets the opposition everytime yet put on an England shirt and they punt it around midfield for half an hour each time they get the ball.

Hat's off to Man U, they got it right on the night. Looking forward to seeing how they get on against Liverpool in the semi, assuming Liverpool don't get done over tonight at Anfield.

They will play Bayern Munich or AC Milan, Liverpool will/should be facing Chelsea.
